2. What are you up to in life?
I’m chief ink slinger over at The F Factor, home for tenacious female entrepreneurs everywhere who refuse to accept the status quo and who want to make a different on the planet. I help them articulate that vision and their message in a way that makes the world sit up and take notice.

The biggest breakthrough for me was right before I rebranded as The F Factor (my business was just “Nikki Groom” back then). I realized that my work is about so much more than me. It’s about the extraordinary women I get to work with every day.

And although copywriting is the backbone of what I do, really I’m helping women find the confidence and clarity they need to take their businesses to the next level.

Now THAT’S exciting!

3. What are some of your accomplishments that you are most proud of?
I moved my entire existence across the Atlantic in three small suitcases six short years ago – without knowing a soul here in the United States.

And I once put myself forward for a full-contact Muay Thai fight. It was one of the toughest challenges of my life, but one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. The buzz from winning was life nothing I’ve ever felt before or since.

4. Was your there a turning point in your life?
Leaving the corporate marketing career that had sustained me for a decade was the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever done – but I’ve never looked back. And since launching my own business, I’ve gone from strength to strength.

Right now, I’m booked out for the next four months – it’s insane! I couldn’t be happier.

5. What is your secret to get so many lovely things going on in your life?
When you want something badly enough, you’ll make it happen.

6. What do you do in your free time?
Walking my dog on the beach, Muay Thai kickboxing, yoga, pilates. I also love going out to lunch with friends, reading and – of course – shopping.

7. How did your website get to be SO cute?
I hired Amanda Farough from Violetminded Media to help me. She rocks (and then some!)

8. My secret to manage my time to do it all is…
There are only so many hours in the day. I usually have a million ideas I’m trying to implement and launch at the same time, so it’s about getting realistic about my time.

I have to ask myself: What do I want to accomplish TODAY, this week, this month, in the next 3 months, the next 6 months, the next year, the next 5 years? That helps keep things manageable.

9. I can’t get enough of…
Pinterest. Society6.com. Etsy.

10. How do you, as a wonder woman, advise others who feel overwhelmed with their life goals?
Break ’em down. Sometimes it’s just about working out what your next step is, or your next three steps – that way things don’t seem so overwhelming.
