A 4 days long journey across the country: Marina del Rey, CA to Fort Lauderdale, FL
11 -13 hours per day.
40 East all the way.
My hybrid, myself and everything I could possibly fit.
2,790 miles of… Praying. Singing out loud. Laughing. Talking on the phone. Talking with myself. Talking with God. Taking photos. Passing by incredible vintage stores, and even more incredible native american shops. Eating junk food. Hunting for safe and clean bathrooms (and dressing like a homeless in order to not call attention).
A lot of rain!
… And lots of heating pads for the lower back!
And my travel buddies!
1st day: Marina del Rey, CA – Flagstaff, AZ – Albuquerque, NM
2nd day: Albuquerque, NM – Amarillo, TX – Oklahoma City, OK – Fort Smith, AR
3rd day: Fort Smith, AR – Memphis, TN – Tupelo, MS – Montgomery, AL
4rd day: Montgomery, AL – Albany, GA – Gainesville, FL – Fort Lauderdale, FL
And then… the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
